Prepare your OVH Windows server to connect

Preparing your OVH (game-)server takes approximately 15 - 30 minutes, including the install time for Windows Server 2019 (Standard).

1. Navigate to your server & hit "Install"

Login to your OVH account, and navigate to your OVH server. On the server-page, click on the install button next to "System (OS)".

2. Select "Install from an OVH template"

3. Choose OS

If you can not find "Windows Server 2019 Standard" in the list, please make sure to purchase a Windows license via your OVH dashboard.

4. Confirm installation

5. Waiting for installation to finish

Your OVH (game-)server will now start the installation process. Please be patient, it can take 10 - 20 minutes.

WARNING
If you make any changes (re-installing, changing password etc) to your OVH machine after this point, you might cause issues with the connection between your machine & GameServerApp and result in dataloss. Reach out to GSA Support if you have questions.
